Copenhagen waterfront at night

The waterfront near our hotel on Copenhagen Island is pretty at night. It would have been romantic but I couldn't talk the MurMonster into leaving the hotel lobby without a known sight to see.  The pedestrian bridge across  the canal is probably 300 meters long and covered in locks and baby pacifiers. The Latino guy at the desk said in Latin America they would be symbols for luck in a new marriage but didn't know what they might mean in Denmark.

The walkway back goes out on pier blocks into the water and makes big sweeping curves in places like terrain you might find at a skateboard or bmx park. The water hazards would be treacherous though.

  2. I didn't know there was such a thing. But here they are, already being banned some places.

  4. Perhaps Murray and I should put our love lock on a distant, lonely bridge over a calm forgotten stretch of water somewhere that really needs a bit of love to brighten it up.
