I bought our plane tickets back. We drift back into Colorado at 9:10PM Feb 1st. The MurMonster doesn't want to look at the flight details. Even though it is a month away, she doesn't want to think about the trip ending.
We start spanish lessons tomorrow morning. I tried to get us practicing together at a regular time each evening, but let her talk me out of it on the fourth night. So we are getting professional help. Something every couple needs at some point.
Hahaha. I would just find a more enjoyable way to practice very night. Say, at a tapas bar. My heart is with Murray on avoiding the return ticket. Enjoy every moment of your time away. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteFunny, our new spanish instructor made a point of saying you only have to buy one cup of coffee at a bar or cafe to get the wifi code to use to study with.
DeleteI love to hear that she doesn't want to discuss the details of coming home, when she was nervous wondering if she could be away from her lovely home for such a period of time! Enjoy every second and I am glad to hear that you have retained outside resources...the success to a long lasting relationship. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is nice that she isn't homesick. Mainly she misses her sister, but, it appears she was more attached to her house when she was in it. Perhaps she will be able to rent it out and we can do something longer later this year.
